Studio

The understanding of Mexican identity is meaningful for our studio. What is achieved is a result of the experience, the sites, the places we've visited, the customs, traditions, and history that Mexico has given us.

Architecture is a pluralistic reflection. It is attuned to history and emotions. The craft not only speaks of the physical, the provocation of intangible value in a work is what defines the relationship with its inhabitant. For us, know-how involves the worlds of theoretical/historical rigor with the weight of a space translated into memory. The dialogue we want to achieve speaks of pre-existence, constructive tradition and the making places.

To work on what has been worked on and advance what has been advanced. An interest in history is the starting point of our work. Understanding history and reinterpreting it brings us closer to rigor on technique and the abstraction of ideas learned to widen our understanding of the issue. With a learning spirit, our practice develops in processes about thinking and working on architectural events that complement their location.
